Calling Us In: An Invitation to Joy

I must remember
I am right where i need to be, always
And dams become doors,
with faith
And patience

And joy will return, like rain
To drench me
To set me free

We begin at an SF Tenderloin bus stop, where a chorus of neighbors burdened with the backpacks of living that we all carry, wait for a ride toward healing, belonging, and transformation. Through song, movement, humor, and raw storytelling, Skywatchers and guest director Sarah Crowell invite us into a bold vision of “calling in” instead of casting out, reimagining community as a place where no one is invisible, everyone’s story matters, and joy becomes an act of collective liberation.
